[Saral] reintegrated in the Ssalto/Duacs system

Category: Operational news

Due to an issue on the processing of the Saral/AltiKa drifting orbit, the mission was temporary deactivated in the Ssalto/Duacs system since 2016/08/09. Today the Saral/Altika is reintegrated in the processing chain.

  • among Ssalto/Duacs Near-Real Time ADT Level-3 products (h), the production of Saral/Altika files are now nominal,
  • among Ssalto/Duacs Near-Real Time MADT Level-4 products (h+uv), the production is also nominal. The Saral/Altika data is now included in the merged maps. So, this is a 3-satellite configuration in the MADT maps (Jason-2, Saral/AltiKa and Cryosat-2).
The processing takes now into account 35 days of Saral/AltiKa data for the computation of the maps (instead of 42 days).
