New SSALTO/DUACS experimental product

Category: Website updates

The product computed with the Multiscale interpolation and combining altimetry and drifters is now available on AVISO+.

Map of Sea Level Anomaly (SLA) in meters on 2019/02/15 using the Multiscale interpolation combining altimetry and drifters. Credits Cnes/CLS.

This new experimental DUACS product aims at improving the mesoscale circulation resolution, using the innovative Multiscale Interpolation Ocean Science Topography (MIOST) method described in Ubelmann et al., 2021  and merging several types of data such as altimetry and drifters.
All the information is detailed in the product page and the product handbook
ACCESS TO DATA:
This product is delivered on the FTP and on the Thredds Data Service
The access can be made via your personal MY AVISO+ (product "Ssalto/Duacs Experimental products: along-track and gridded Sea Level Heights and velocities")
