Over the years, quite a lot of outreach material was issued. This was done in different formats (leaflets, newsletters, posters, web sites, educational programs…), on different topics (although some, like climate and El Niño were always highlighted), and aimed at different audiences (scientists, students, educators, decision-makers…).

Leaflets, booklets and fact sheets were among the first and the most often made altimetry outreach material. Posters, 3D pictures or other nice visuals help people keep altimetry in mind, even if they carry less information.
