The Global Positioning System (GPS) Receiver is picking up tracking signals from the constellation of GPS satellites. The GPSP Instrument is single string.  Its performance requirements are based on heritage Jason-3 capabilities. The hardware is inherited design from COSMIC 2 and DSAC. Instrument development is part of a common "block buy" for Swot and Sentinel-6.
