Category: Operational news
An anomaly has been detected on the processing impacting the coverage of the data due to the technique applied to take into account the drifting orbit. The products impacted are the along-track and the gridded products for the data more recent than 2 days and older than 11 days. For example, for the production of the 30/05/2012:
An anomaly has been detected in the coverage of the data for the Jason-1 geodetic mission, impacted the near-real time along-track and gridded products.
As you know, Jason-1 has been re-integrated in the SSALTO/Duacs NRT products on its geodetic orbit on May 25th 2012 (see <link http: www.aviso.oceanobs.com en news-storage news-detail _top external-link-new-window>our previous news). An anomaly has been detected on the processing impacting the coverage of the data due to the technique applied to take into account the drifting orbit. The products impacted are the along-track and the gridded products for the data more recent than 2 days and older than 11 days. For example, for the production of the 30/05/2012:
- the along-track files from 17 to 27 May are correctly processed with a full coverage,
- the along-track files between 28 and 29 May (<2days) and between 7 and 16 May (>11days) are corrupted.
