This is the announcement for the CFOSAT open science meeting, which will take place in Guangzhou (China) on February 3rd to 5th 2015.
We remind you that CFOSAT is a French-Chinese oceanographic mission devoted to surface ocean wind and wave observation, to be launched in 2018. It will embark two Ku-Band radar instruments, the French radar SWIM pointing at low incidence angles (including a nadir pointing beam) to provide wind speed and wave vector parameters, and the Chinese fan-beam rotating wind scatterometer called "SCAT" to provide wind vectors.You may find more details on the mission in:
