A new version of the Mean Sea Surface called MSS_CNES_CLS_10 is available on the Aviso website.

The Mean Sea Surface (also called MSS) corresponds to marine geoid undulations and to the mean ocean circulation. This new MSS results from some improvements concerning the altimetric data (e.g. GDR-C standards) and also the collocation method. It has been produced in the frame of the SLOOP project, funded by CNES/SALP, aiming at improving the quality of altimetric products in open ocean.
