[Jason-2] Status update: Recovery in progress - Final steps

The recovery of the Jason-2 mission is continuing, any trouble is encountered. The schedule is confirmed to plan the altimeter restart today around 12:00 UT.

The recovery of the Jason-2 mission is continuing and so far, we do not encounter any trouble. The operations are going smoothly and all the planned activities have been completed today. Currently the spacecraft is pointing Earth in nominal mode and the Earth Terminals are in high rate mode. Laser stations are invited to resume their activities on Jason-2.  The schedule plans a Poseidon-3 restart on 12th September around 12:00 UT, an AMR & GPSP restart around 14:00 UT. The Near Real Time processing will be resumed just after. Jason-2 passengers will be switched on 13th September morning (European time).  The next status update will be provided on Thursday September 12th when the core payload will be active.  Thierry Guinle of behalf of Jason-2 project managers from NOAA, EUMETSAT, JPL and CNES
