Cnes and Esa jointly organise a first workshop for SMOS Cal/Val and research activities on 27-29th Sept. 2011.

Cnes and Esa jointly organise a first workshop to provide scientists and data users with the opportunity to present results from their research activities exploiting data from the SMOS mission. The workshop will address both SMOS calibration and validation activities as well as research activities. Esa's Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity (SMOS) mission was launched in November 2009 to observe soil moisture over continents and salinity over the oceans. The workshop will be held in Arles, France, from 27 to 29 September 2011.
