All the Jason-2 systematic validation reports, including a series of quality controls and statistical analysis, have been published on the Aviso web site.

The purpose of these documents is to report the major features of the data quality from the Jason-2 mission. They are associated with data dissemination on a cycle per cycle basis and result from Jason-2 GDRs.
The objectives of these reports are :

• to provide a data quality assessment,
• to provide users with necessary information for data processing,
• to report any change likely to impact data quality at any level, from instrument status to software configuration,
• to present the major useful results for the current cycle.
